Artist: The Killers Title: Sam's Town
This is the Killers' fall-2005 album, with singles such as "When You Were Young" and currently, "Read My Mind". It's way more, close to the band, in more ways then the first cd, Hot Fuss, was.
With more classic-rock sounding songs, the boys are sounding like they're from anywhere but Las Vegas. Hot Fuss had more techno-sounds, where as Sam's Town is way different. Way.
Recommandations
Simply, my favourites are
"Sam's Town", "Uncle Johnny", "This River Is Wild", and "Why Do I Keep Counting?".
What Makes It Special
"Our songs are going to do the world good," lead singer Brandon Flowers tells People magazine. I think that the Killers are one of those bands where you just can't beat your first album. But Sam's Town is still worth checking out, but only if you were a fan before.
Band Members
Brandon Flowers - Vocals, keyboards
David Keuning - Guitar
Mark Stoermer - Bass
Ronnie Vannucci - Drums
After Sam's Town, The Killers were voted "Sexiest Band" by People magazine.
