Another Rock List!

Since my last list was about my favourite rockstars, this one is about my favourite rock songs! *makes horn things with hand, indicating "rock on!" symbol*

LLTBP's Top 5 Favourite Rock Songs of the Past Two Years

5. "Fallen Leaves" by Billy Talent (Billy Talent II)
Winning many MMVAs this year, including Best Video, this song has showed how strong it is. Even though it's just good-ol' Canadian rock, this song has a possibility of changing the world.

4. "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol (Eyes Open)
Well, if we had a dollar every time we heard this song on the radio, we'd be swimming in cash! Hot103 played it a little too much, but it still got me to buy the album. Gary Lightbody made our list of rockstars, loosely based on this song alone. With its combination of heartfelt lyrics and a catchy tune you know you'll never get out of your head, Chasing Cars well-deserves its spot.

3. "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" by Fall Out Boy (From Under the Cork Tree)
Guitars, vocals, drums, lyrics that are slurred beyond belief ... sounds like an FOB song to me! It has all the basic essentials of a good rock song, but it's just the FOB twist to it that makes our list!

2. "Dead!" by My Chemical Romance (The Black Parade)
The people that don't buy the entire album are idiots. This song has at least two guitar solos, and it's MCR! You can't not like MCR! (Unless you're a certain loser in a band called Kobalt. *cough, cough*) Dead!'ll, most likely, not hit radio. But you must go listen to it! Now!

1. "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects (Move Along)
"Move along, move along, just to make it through." I have a friend who hates the band, but loves the song. You know why? Because it saves lives. Including mine. Something that isn't usually spotlighted, drums, are used particularly in this song (go Chris!). The vocals can be smooth, and they can be rough. Rough in a good way. Anyways, the video for this also won a VMA. So go AAR. And I'm not just putting this song in the top spot because it's AAR.
I'm doing it because it's the truth.
